Design Story

Pendant design was created in house by us, but the pendant recreates the symbolism of the Torres Strait Islander Flag. The flag was designed by the late Bernard Namok from Waiben (Thursday Island). The flag incorporates the traditional Dhari / Dhoeri Headdress and a five pointed star symbolising peace, the five major island groups and the navigational importance of stars to our people.
